Findlater Jet Induced Summer Monsoon Memory in the Arabian Sea
This study aimed to examine the spatio-temporal pattern of find dust warning in the Republic of Korea using a Local Indicator of Temporal Burstiness (LITB). LITB can represent the spatial distribution of temporal centration of time series events. Generally, the frequency map can show the distribution of total frequency of events. On the other hands, the LITB map showed the areal pattern that had the high temporal concentration of fine dust warning in a short time period that cannot be identified in the frequency map. Therefore, through the LITB map, it is possible to examine the distribution of temporal concentration of events, which can help allocate resources to reduce the damage from the events.
